While scrolling through the buzzfeed analysis on this dreary Sunday morning, the image containing the coffee compendium had me craving another coffee. Every morning I wake up I start it off with a tall black coffee and four eggs. This morning I only had eggs, with no coffee to kick start my morning. Not only had this image made me want more coffee but it also provided some information so that we would never mix up a latte and a macchiato ever again. Not really sure what either of those are and I do not really care, I just really want a regular coffee. the image was presented in a visual-text mode. The image contained text that described the coffee with an image above the description that pertained to what type of coffee went into making it. The purpose of this image was to reach an audience who enjoyed coffee in attempts to help them distinguish one coffee from another. What become appealing about the image was the background behind the image. The board itself was a simple black design with images of the coffee. The setting in which it was placed was a surrounded by a dark wood which resembled most coffee shops. I am not really sure why it became so appealing but the dark brown wood and the simplicity of the image had me craving a coffee.
