As I was scrolling through my Twitter feed I noticed one of my classmates twitter narratives. Emily Pelingra, who is in my class, wrote a story that talked about her exploits as a freshman in college. She explained throughout her story the adventure she had as a freshman and the experiences we all have trying to find our way around campus. She first starts of with explaining her situation and where she was trying to go. She thought she was headed the right way, but soon realized that she really had no idea where she was going. She soon turned another way and took another path. Eventually she came to her destination after multiple times questioning where she was going and what she was doing. Emily's experience was very similar to all of those who enter college their first year. Many of these people are unsure of who they are and where they are. This situation in a sense exemplifies the situation situation the path that college students take in realizing who they are and what they are trying to accomplish. From a simple Twitter narrative there are informational tweets that describe Emily and who she is. Her tweets emphasize the experiences she had as a freshman and the questioning she had of where to go. This questioning of where to go is similar in all of our lives as to what we are trying to do. While entering my first year of college at USF I was determined to become a doctor. Soon after taking a few science courses and labs I realized that this was not what I enjoyed. In the spring semester of my freshman year I switched my major from Science to Accounting. Just like Emily, I thought I was on my way and all of a sudden I realized where I wanted to go and headed that way.
