Valentine's Day is commonly known as a day where people share their affection for one another. This day is typically filled with genres such as love, affection, care, and many other emotions that invoke a heart warming sensation. Many people think of this day as a time where chocolates, flowers, and balloons are given to partners and where the day is spent spending time with that certain someone special. Some genre conventions can include the giving of flowers, cheesy cards, and nice dinners. I think the image below is a bittersweet valentine's day card that might only appeal to a small crowd. As we all know Trump wants to get the illegal immigrants out of our country. So with the card saying, "I wouldn't deport you" it is funny and yet very wrong at the same time. However, it does fit into the genre convention of valentine's day.
